Why choose the Synergy?

Synergy: The interaction of multiple elements in a system to produce an effect different from or greater than the sum of their individual effects.

The purpose of the Holford Synergy Project is to enable stand alone companies to offer their strengths and niche skill set. Many companies specialise in a process or product range, but to have the ability to manufacture every process to every specification whilst retaining quality and attention to detail, can be very difficult to achieve. More often than not, elements of the processes are diluted to the old cliché of

jack of all trades and master of none.

The synergy allows each company to offer its specialisation whilst providing the customer with the whole product range retaining the quality, efficiency and prices.

Procurement benefits:
Procurement teams need to be fully conversant on a wide range of products and specifications, juggling the work load with limited time often on reorder Kan-ban systems. When the orders are placed it’s a case of keeping track of lead times, the order, potential delays and so on… this is all time consuming, stressful and a waste of resources, which can only hinder your supply chain.

The Holford Synergy enables the buyer to make one phone call or email, passing the full array of products, specifications and requirements over to a single point of contact. That contact will then micro manage the list of requirements passing the relevant orders onto our relevant specialists before overseeing the manufacturing process for you, by means of on-site visits, phone calls and progress reports.

This is possible whether the requirements are separate entities in their own right or if they are part of a kit or sub assembly, the product can be delivered to you in a fully assembled state fully certified as required on time first time convenience without compromise.

Cost benefits:
There are cost savings to be had when dealing with the synergy. We significantly reduce the cost in your supply chain. The non value adding ratio in our organisation is reduced, we have greater buying power not only for raw materials, but coolants and tooling. All these savings lower our hourly rate enabling us to maintain a very competitive pricing structure.
